Station Control Device
These devices are placed in a station and perform supervisory and control functions required for safe operation of the trains movement in the vicinity of a station. It has got a large number of automatic functions, such as

The Auto Control system consists of the following components for facilitate better rail control and operation:

• Continuous monitoring of train/vehicle movement in the station area
• Communicating with the train/vehicles in the station area
• Informing the dangerous situations to the respective train/vehicles in te station area and avoiding the collisions
• Performing station operations Platform doors opening and closing when train/vehicle is in a station
• A GUI based user friendly Information system is part of these devices. This GUI based system provide information for station manager/supervising staff regarding the vehicle movements, alerts, alarms, equipment failures, reports and commands from the Central control room. The GUI based system is connected with a central monitoring system (CMS) and exchange of information for safe train/vehicle operation in the entire route. The GUI system also receives commands from the CMS and act accordingly for safe and smooth operations
• Provision for tracking the vehicle occupancy using Track Circuits as an additional safety feature
