Overview
One of the widely used and comfortable modes of transportation
across the globe is a railroad system. But occasional accidents
occurring due to collisions either between two trains or between
train and road vehicles cause considerable loss to human life
and property. Human life is beyond price. Addressing such
dangerous failure modes of train operations which involve
heavy loss of lives must have the highest priority because
loss prevention is a statutory goal of any railroad authority.
RAKSHA KAVACH™ is a fully integrated, state of the
art electronic control system designed to minimize collisions
and increase safety on any railway network, both freight as
well as passenger trains. It is a non-vital system providing
an additional layer of safety in train operations to prevent
dangerous train collisions, caused due to human errors or
limitations and equipment failures. Being a non-signaling
system, RAKSHA KAVACH™ is not intended to replace any
existing signaling & interlocking systems / procedures.
